Owners of property and cars with high evaluation tax to pay double tax

Owners of property with evaluation tax of BGN 300,000 and owners of automobiles, which evaluation tax amounts BGN 70,000 will be imposed double tax, chairman of Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (CEIB) Ivo Prokopiev said before journalists at a sitting of the National Council for Trilateral Co-operation, cited by FOCUS News Agency.
Prokopiev said no taxes will be increased and social partners have reached a consensus on the structural reforms. In his words the burden of the crisis has been allocated fairly between the people, the business and the government.
The total amount that would be collected due to these measures is BGN 1,623 billion. If this amount would be realized, VAT will not be raised, Ivo Prokopiev said further.
