14 May 2009
People looking to invest in a home overseas should choose property in Bulgaria, as it is has some of the least expensive houses in Europe, a property magazine claims.
According to industry magazine Quest, property in Bulgaria will soon experience another boom period, thanks to the low cost of accommodation in the country.
Now is therefore the perfect time to invest in a home to benefit from both good value buildings and land, the website adds.
"Buyers from all over the world are still buying all manner of Bulgarian real estate from beachside apartments to rural cottages," the publication states.
Investors also have far more choice than five years ago and there have been improvements in red tape procedures, meaning purchasing a property in Bulgaria is now easier than ever, the news provider concludes.
The country's government recently introduced the new Act on the Management of the Condominium Ownership providing owners of property in Bulgarian with a separate clause outlining their obligations.
