Bulgaria's 1st high-rise building to be constructed by 2010
02 May 2008
The first high-rise building in Burgas, on the Black Sea, will be constructed over the next two years in the Meden Rudnik borough. The mixed-use building will be 90 m tall, incorporating two underground levels and 30 storeys above the ground.
The underground section of the high-rise will offer 120 parking spaces. A further 80 parking spaces will be available outdoors. Retail outlets, indoor swimming pool, gym, bank office and public vault will occupy the first five floors from the ground up. The next 25 floors are designed to house 200 apartments with size between 52 and 210sqm.
The off-plan price for the apartments is between 430 and 630 EUR/sqm. If the upper-floor apartments remain untenanted, the developer plans to convert them into restaurants and offices.
